Welcome to the website of the Ministerial Education Board of the Uniting Church in Australia Queensland Synod.  The purpose of this website is to provide information about the work of the MEB, as well as ready access to documents of the MEB which may be needed from time to time by presbyteries, congregations, and individuals.  Documents may be accessed through the General Information page, where they are listed alphabetically.

The MEB exists to support, resource and develop theological education and ministry formation of candidates for the specified ministries of the UCA and of lay people within the Church, in order to glorify God and enhance the Church’s participation in the ministry and mission of Christ. It has oversight of a range of matters related to Trinity Theological College Brisbane, its faculty, staff, students and resources, and to the work of the wider Church.

The roles and responsibilities of the MEB are set forth in the Regulations of the Uniting Church in Australia and the By-Laws of the Queensland Synod.  The MEB reports to the UCA Assembly’s Ministerial Education Commission, the Queensland Synod in Session, and the Council of Synod.

We hope that you will find the website helpful. Please contact us if you require any further information.
